August 20, Roseville: An Encore Performance |
  On day two in Roseville, CA, we saw lots of people that weren’t able to get into our screenings yesterday. Early this morning Fox 40 did a two-minute spot with Dr. Andrea Willey in front of the RV, and we were on our way by 8:10 AM. People were waiting on a beautiful rock bench by a waterfall in the parking lot of this brand new Rite Aid; a very pretty location for today’s event. We were able to alleviate the worries of people with no health insurance, teach couples how to help each other with self-exams, and even screen a soldier. We found one melanoma, along with eight basal cell carcinomas, and three squamous cell carcinomas. People were grateful to have immediate feedback, and to read about any new diagnoses.
