Donations made in memory of a relative, friend, colleague or organization ensures that the rich lives of those who have died from melanoma are remembered for generations to come. Memorial gifts are also a meaningful way to help The Skin Cancer Foundation educate individuals, families and communities across the country about skin cancer. Each memorial gift is allocated towards a memorial fund named after the deceased and will support the Foundation's national education programs and activities.
The family member or primary contact for each memorial fund is notified when the fund is first created and receives a tribute list of all donors who contribute to the fund.
In honor of donations can be made in the name of a living relative, friend, colleague or organization as a tribute to their struggle with skin cancer or in recognition of their excellent efforts at raising awareness in their community. Donations can also be made in honor of your dedicated physician. Patient donations made in a physician's honor are credited towards the physician's professional membership to The Skin Cancer Foundation. In honor of donations can be made in lieu of gifts for a wedding, birthday, graduation or anniversary.
The individual whose honor your gift is made is always notified of your generosity and your recognition.
