The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Professional Membership Program is comprised of an elite group of the country’s foremost dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, physicians and medical professionals who have made a commitment to skin cancer education and prevention. Membership enables physicians and other medical professionals to take an active part in furthering a cause that directly affects their patients and practice. They are the driving force of the organization and play a critical role in the Foundation’s educational outreach.

Professional members help educate the general public about skin cancer prevention and sun protection as the Foundation’s spokespersons in media platforms such as The New York Times, U.S. News and World Report, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Prevention, with mentions on “The Today Show”, “Good Morning America” and the “CBS Evening News.” They also share their medical expertise by conducting medical education seminars and workshops for dermatology residents and medical staff at their affiliated institutions and conduct screenings.
