The Rite Aid in Medford, OR was a popular stop for the Road to Healthy Skin Tour. Danielle, a reporter from the local ABC TV station, stopped by in the morning to interview our volunteer dermatologist, Jennifer Childers, MD. The correspondent was also able to speak with several participants as well as get footage from a screening. Dr. Childers volunteered 4 hours providing free skin cancer screenings to the public. Thanks to the local ABC News station, the public was aware of the event and we had a great turn out because of it. Dr. Childers was able to screen 60 participants, detecting 6 potential cancerous lesions and 46 precancerous lesions.
