The Road to Healthy Skin Tour made its debut in the city of Walla Walla, WA, known for its sweet onions and vineyards. Jeffrey Stiles, MD, and Francesco D’Alessandro, MD, both from the Walla Walla Clinic, provided free skin cancer screenings. They were both thrilled to help out and look forward to our return next year.
Over the course of the six-hour screening, the doctors screened 39 people, finding 17 suspected and two suspected nonmelanoma skin cancers. It was a pleasant first time in Walla Walla and we hope to see everyone again next year—and one of the town’s residents agreed: "I’m happy that you came to the Rite Aid in Walla Walla. We never have anything special like this in our town." We’re glad to oblige!
