The Tour made its second stop in the Dayton area at the Rite Aid in Vandalia, OH, today. During the three-hour hours event, Barbara Cortez, MD, and Allen McGrew, MD, screened 44 patients, detecting 31 suspected skin precancers and 12 suspected nonmelanoma skin cancers. One of the patients told us she’d only just learned of the Tour: "I was sitting in my car reading Fitness magazine, waiting for my daughter’s dance class to end,” she recalled. “I happened to be reading about the Tour and you wouldn't believe this.... but I looked up and you were parked in the shopping center right across the street!"
