The Road to Healthy Skin Tour had a pleasant change of scenery today—we were at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN. Centennial Park is home to the famous Nashville Parthenon, an exact replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece. It is the cornerstone of the park and is considered one of Nashville’s treasures. In addition to our event, there was also a food truck festival and free concert that took place keeping the park more than busy. Radio station 96.3 JACK joined us and provided music and games to add even more festivity to the afternoon. Holding our event at this park was a welcome change from our usual parking lot set-up!
Charles Goodman, MD, volunteered his afternoon, providing 34 screenings in three hours, and detecting 12 suspected skin precancers and two suspected basal cell carcinomas.
