We had a great turnout at today’s event in Wethersfield, CT, and we kept Ed Benjamin, MD, very busy. This was the second year that Dr. Benjamin volunteered to work on the Tour and he screened 29 people during this three-hour event, discovering four suspected nonmelanoma skin cancers and six suspected skin precancers. Several local media outlets, including the local NBC news station, promoted the Tour.
We were also surprised to see The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Communications Manager Becky Wiley at today’s event! She was in the area for the weekend so she stopped by to say hello and to see how things were going.
