Corporate Council

Our Corporate Council is a group of approximately 100 U.S. and international companies that have made a commitment to The Skin Cancer Foundation. Corporate Council members help support the Foundation’s work, which empowers people to take a proactive approach to daily sun protection and the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.

For 40 years, The Skin Cancer Foundation’s initiatives, leadership, education and programs have opened people’s eyes, led to change and saved lives. Skin cancer takes decades to develop, though, and cases are still on the rise. We have much work to do until we can eliminate deaths and ease suffering caused by the world’s most common cancer. Support by committed corporations can help us reach that goal — and help satisfy corporate social responsibility goals. We are proud of our Corporate Council and the many long-term, ongoing relationships we have nurtured within it, some since the program began in 1981.

The annual membership fee is $10,000. For more information on how to become a member of our Corporate Council, email Nancy Helman: nhelman@SkinCancer.org.

International Corporate Council

Companies that wish to be associated with The Skin Cancer Foundation’s mission can choose membership on the Corporate Council. In this way, a company can be identified with the many educational programs of the Foundation; its membership pledge provides sustaining support for the Foundation’s public awareness campaign and helps disseminate the Foundation’s vital message on a professional and consumer level.

Many Corporate Council members provide additional support through sponsorship of specific projects. Corporate Council members are eligible to apply for the Seal of Recommendation for any sun protection products that meet our standards.  In addition, Corporate Council Members receive access to cutting-edge information regarding skin cancer through complimentary subscriptions to the Foundation’s publications and other resource materials. The annual membership fee is $10,000.

Membership in the International Corporate Council is open to corporations who support the Foundation’s work on a global basis and who pledge sustaining support to increase awareness of skin cancer and promote sun-safe behaviors among all populations who are at risk.

Corporations are invited to join the International Corporate Council by pledging an annual membership fee of $10,000. This provides for full global membership outside of the United States.
