November 1, 2012 – Please be advised that Banana Boat’s Protect & Hydrate SPF 15 lotion sold in certain Publix and Wal-Mart store locations may be inaccurately labeled with The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Active Seal of Recommendation. The Banana Boat Protect & Hydrate SPF 15 lotion is recommended by the Foundation as an effective broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen; however it should be labeled with the Foundation’s Daily Use Seal and not the Active Seal due to the product’s Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15. This inaccuracy is due to a printing error and has been corrected for future shipments of this product.

The inaccuracy is limited to these locations:

• Publix Stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee
• Wal-Mart stores in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Nevada, South Carolina, Southern California, and Texas
